Akron Art Museum’s Downtown@Dusk Series Concludes With Three Diverse Dance Groups

Thu 8/8 @ 6:30-8:30PM

For the final edition of its Downtown@Dusk series, now in its 40th year, the Akron Art Museum is collaborating with an annual event now in its 50th year — Akron’s Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival.

The evening will feature a cross-cultural diversity of area dance ensembles. They include contemporary dance company Inlet Dance Theatre; the African dancers and drummers from Djapo! Cultural Arts Institute, and the Polynesian hula and Tahitian dance performers from Pacific Paradise Entertainment. It’s a great opportunity to sample some of the variety of dance being done in northeast Ohio.

It takes place in the museum’s Bud and Susie Rogers Garden, and it’s free.
