Dancing Wheels Hosts its Annual “Night at the Races” Benefit

Sat 2/10 @ 6:30PM

One of the big fundraisers that local ensemble Dancing Wheels hosts every year is its Night at the Races, which gives supporters the chance to hang out, socialize and do a little gambling while knowing profits go to a worthy cause and not billionaire casino interests.

It starts with general admission of $30 per person, which this year includes snacks, pieces and non-alcoholic beverages, although you still may bring your own food. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. After that you can lay down your money to participate in various “races” as well as participate in a reverse raffle and a “bucket of booze” raffle. There’ll also be 50-50 and lotto ticket raffle sideboards throughout the evening.

The event takes place at Sts Robert and William Parish in Euclid (377 E. 260th) And all money raised supports the education and outreach programs of this pioneering company, whose choreography and performances blend “stand-up” and “sit-down” (wheelchair dancers) performing together.
