The Cleveland Opera Performs Yuletide Carols at St. Casimir Church

Sun 1/7 @ 2:30PM

The Cleveland Opera is offering what it calls a “Yuletide Adventure into 2024.” The singers and musicians from the company will lead a sing-along of Polish holiday songs starting at 2:30 in the Social Hall, followed by the concert in the church.

Vocalists soprano Dorota Sobieska and tenor Philip Formes will be supported by musicians (including themselves) playing such modern and period instruments as mandolin, violin, viola, double bass, clarinet, flute, rebec, hurdy gurdy and more, and all the performers will be wearing what they describe as “theatrical costumes, which combine the Renaissance and the Romantic.”

The free afternoon takes place at Cleveland’s beautiful Saint Casimir Church in Hough. Com early, starting at 1pm, and you can purchase at hot dinner in the Social Hall.
