Room Service Boutique Holds Farewell Weekend to Close its Van Aken Location

Fri 1/19-Sun 1/21 @ 4-6PM

Jennie Doran took over the Ohio City-based “lifestyle boutique” in 2013 from its original owner Danielle DeBoe who opened it in 2007. With her husband Andrew Worm, she created a welcoming “I want to live here!” kind of shop with an enticing array of unique home décor, distinctive kitchen items, personal care products, wearable accessories, kids toys, a curated selection of creative books and more, all beautiful displayed to make you covet, well, everything.

Jennie and Andrew opened a second location at the Van Aken District in 2017, closing the Ohio City boutique in 2021. Last year, they opened a café/coffee shop with a boutique vibe called The Judith up the street from the original Room Service. Now Room Service will also be returning to the edge of Ohio City in a space adjacent to The Judith. But that refocus means that they’re closing the shop at Van Aken District. Their last day there will be Sunday January 21. All weekend, Friday through Sunday, they’ll be hosting a farewell party from 4-6 pm each day. Look for the new boutique in a couple of months. All are welcome!
