Sat 1/20 @ 4-7PM
If you feel passionate about improving northeast Ohio’s streets to be welcoming to pedestrians and cyclists as well as to vehicles, you’ll certainly want to hook up with Bike Cleveland, the nonprofit founded in 2011 to advocate for that and work for policy changes to make our streets safer.
And if you haven’t had a chance yet to meet up with them and learn how you can get involved, an ideal time to do so is at their annual meeting and social at Sokol Greater Cleveland in Slavic Village. It’s free for members and all you have to do to be welcome is buy a membership (the ticket costs automatically converts into an annual membership).
The evening includes dinner starting at 4:30, with a presentation from 5-6pm to learn about all the projects Bike Cleveland is involved in and what they have planned for the future. Then from 6-7pm it’s time to socialize, get to know others with the same interests and possibly meet some new cycling partners for those spring outings you had planned.
Get tickets here.
