Thu 2/1 @ 4-8PM
The Western Reserve Historical Society’s Cleveland History Center and Crawford museum are currently hosting a show called Ferrari: The Essence of Italian Design, featuring 14 of these classic sportscars.
If you want an even fuller experience of Italian culture and the luxury lifestyle surrounding these cars, come to its “Food, Fashion and Ferraris” event this Thursday. You can see a full-sized copy of the 1976 Ferreri 1 used in the 2013 Ron Howard film Rush, shop for Italian-made fashion accessories from the Italian shop and home décor from Solari, and purchase light food items courtesy of the Murray Hill Market, and Italian wine, beer and cocktails.
At 6pm, there’ll be a presentation about “The Culture and Food of the Emilia-Romagna Region” by Dr. the head of Lake Erie College’s Italian studies program, Dr. Paola Basile. And the Cleveland Italian Ancestry Organization (CIAO) will be providing info about how to research your Italian heritage. The $15 admission also includes admission to all Crawford and Cleveland History Center exhibits.
