Cleveland star chef Dante Boccuzzi moved east for the first time in spring 2023 to bring a southern/western flavor to downtown Willoughby in Lake County. — As the name suggests, the flavor is “good ol’ boy” at this upscale honky-tonk saloon, which offers versions of southern comfort foods such as jalapeno cornbread and fried green tomatoes as starters and mostly salads and sandwiches as main courses — a surprising number of them vegetarian considering that this basically bar food (Just skip the bacon bread pudding dessert.). There’s plenty of distinctive things to drink and a large outdoor patio to drink them on too. The menu prices are extremely affordable — no pretensions here! Open until midnight Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday, and until 2am Friday and Saturday.
