Sat 9/9 @ 3-5PM

The final event in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens’ summer-long World On Stage series, spotlighting different regions of the world, takes place this Saturday when Asian Cultural Day takes place at the Centennial Peace Plaza.

Visitors will be treated to a program of music and dance from China, Japan, India and the Pacific Islands. Performers include the New Cleveland Indians representing the culture of India; the Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association; Pacific Paradise Entertainment & Halau Ka Pua Mae’ole Kuikanani; the Chinese Stellar Acrobatic Dance Academy and Rising Sun Acrobatic Troupe; the Sho-Jo-Ji Japanese; and the Kwan Family Lion Dance Team performing traditional Chinese dance.

It’s free and no registration is required. In case of bad weather, the program relocates to St. Casimir Church just west of the gardens.
