Sat 7/22 @ 5:30-9:30PM
The Morgan Conservatory, dedicated to making paper and making art out of paper, is hosting its annual Kozo Garden Party benefit this weekend.
The evening features craft cocktails and a buffet-style dinner, accompanied by live music from the Glen Holmes Jazz Trio. Arrive at 5:30 for the cocktail reception, a paper marbling demonstration, and the chance to tour the Morgan’s kozo garden, the largest such garden in the country. The bark from the kozo plant aka paper mulberry is widely used in Japan to make paper, and each year the Morgan strips the bark and does the same.
Dinner is served at 7pm and at 8pm the live art auction starts. To get tickets go to kozo-garden-party-annual-benefit-dinner.
