Western Reserve Historical Society’s History on Tap evening this month honors the LGBTQ+ community during Pride month.
It will spotlight the contributions of that community to northeast Ohio’s history and the items in its collection that pertain to it, with author/historian John Grabowski offering guided tours of some of the institution’s relevant assets. Explore the Hanna Library and the Hanna Mansion and learn their history, including legendary songwriter Cole Porter’s connection to the area.
The event also includes food and drinks available for purchase, entertainment, and the chance to hang out and socialize in the Hanna garden and the surrounding spaces.
Pre-registration isn’t required but is encouraged. Go to history-on-tap-pride-tickets.
