South Euclid Garden Walk Features Private Gardens, a Nature Preserve and More

Sat 6/24 & Sun 6/25 @11AM-3PM

All of a sudden everyone is doing a garden walk, something Cleveland’s done annually since 2011. (It’s in July and it’s the only big event on our calendar not cancelled in 2020: it lends itself to social distancing) Lakewood has one and so does South Euclid, whose walk this weekend is their sixth.

These walks are self-guided tours where you can pick up a map and visit private home garden, community gardens, public parks and green spaces of your choosing, all at your own pace.

The sixth annual GardenWalk South Euclid will feature more than 70 private resident gardens, a 21-acre nature preserve, a nine-mile wetland, eight community garden and three pocket parks. And somehow they have found enough poets to write about each garden which they’ll later use to produce a commemorative book!

Maps are available at the South Euclid Community Center and South Euclid Library or you can download one here.
