Cleveland-based professional vocal ensemble Quire Cleveland returns from pandemic isolation to present its annual holiday concerts Carols for Quire — live!
Carols for Quire XII: Angels and Shepherds offers a mix of contemporary and 16th-century Renaissance carols, exploring the different ways the response of the shepherds to the news of Jesus’ birth has been expressed in song. There’ll also be an opportunity for the audience to join the choir members in song.
The concerts will take place at Our Lady of Peace in Shaker Square on Thursday December 1; at St. John Cantius Church in Tremont on Friday December 2; and at Saint Paschal Baylon Church in Highland Heights on Saturday December 3.
Admission is free; no tickets or reservations are required. A freewill offering will be taken with a suggested donation $30.
