Wellness Nonprofit Food Strong Holds its Cornucopia Benefit in the Flats

Thu 9/22 @ 4:30-9PM

Sara Continenza founded the nonprofit Food Strong to help connect more people in the community with fresh, healthy, local food as well as other resources to promote health and wellness.

Food Strong’s primary fundraiser each year is Cornucopia: A Fundraising Gala to Grow Cleveland’s Freshest Nonprofit, now in its fourth year.

It takes place at Lago Custom Events on the East Bank of the Flats where it kicks off with a VIP Happy Hour from 4:30-6pm in the penthouse where Cleveland guitarist/vocalist Moises Borges will be performing music from his native Brazil. That main party takes place from 6-9pm with unlimited appetizers and drinks, a full dinner catered by Lago, silent auctions and raffles, and local band Apostle Jones offering their dynamic theatrical rock. There’s even an afterhours party. Go here for tickets and more information.
