The FRONT International Triennial, which is bringing work by nationally and internationally celebrated artists to venues in Cleveland, Akron and Oberlin for the next three months, kicked off its first weekend with a family-oriented “block party” on Public Square.
A little rain interruption didn’t dampen the fun, which included performers such as rapper Free Black, soul singer Sadhu and Latin-inflected ensemble Hello3D, a dance ensemble, acrobats, booths by local organizations offering hands-on creative opportunities, lots of play equipment, and food trucks.
