Once a month, musicians with an adventurous spirit are invited to come down to the BOP STOP on a Tuesday evening to join in an open-ended musical exploration at its Outlab: Experiments in Improvised Music, an event for musicians and fans into experimental music.
Musicians of all experience and skill levels are invited bring any musical instruments or sound-making device to join in a collective group improvisation. Drums and keyboards are provided but bring your own amp if you need one.
There are no “rules” but they do have suggested “guidelines”: “1) to direct our explorations along the most productive and positive lines, and 2) to engage the widest possible variety of individuals from Greater Cleveland’s rich and diverse music scenes.”
