Kaiser Gallery Discussion Explores Arts & Technology Connections

Sun 1/30 @ 6PM

One of Tremont’s newest galleries, the Kaiser Gallery, is a combination cocktail lounge and art gallery, which focuses in its thematic exhibits on pushing the boundaries of traditional art, incorporating modern technologies involving light, sound and digital processing.

Its current show, Future Resonance, which will be on view through Sunday February 6, features seven artists who use technology to expand definitions of what’s considered art.

In conjunction with that show, the gallery will host Electrical and Railway Systems Engineer Cara Levy along with the artists who are part of Future Resonance (Mike Bruckman, Jeremy Davis, Jeremy Newman, Thea Reid, Ethan Samaha, Dustin Steuck, and Anna Thorne) for a virtual panel discussion about how art and technology are intersecting today. It’s partnering with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Women in Engineering New York, as part of a mission to encourage connecting conversations between those in the arts and in the sciences.

To sign up for the free event, go to future-resonance-panel-discussion-tickets.
