Local Chef Offers Tips on Using All Those Fresh Summer Veggies

Wed 6/23 @ 7PM

We’re just getting into that season of fresh vegetable bounty, and for the next several months, farmers markets will be brimming with wonder locally grown produce. Maybe you’re wondering about ways to use it all, especially if you’ve got a weekly CSA bag filled with all sorts of stuff, familiar and not.

Join the Hudson Library & Historical Society, and Anthony Scolaro, chef/owner of Medina’s One Eleven Bistro, for a Zoom forum on ways to use those summer vegetables. He’ll demonstrate the process of vegetable blanching and preservation and offer some ways to jazz up and add some variety to a summer salad with fresh herbs.

It’s free but registration is required. To register, go here. You can also watch on the Hudson Library’s Facebook page afterwards.
