Pianist Grace Harper, sax player Alex Henry and drummer Mat Weisman are all stalwarts in northeast Ohio’s experimental music scene, in which musicians tend to group and regroup in order to create fresh new sounds. They’ve joined together as the Harper Henry Weisman Trio for an evening of improvised music they’ve dubbed Lockdown and Out. They’re promising it will be a sonic journey of “organically evolving soundscapes with distinct melody and nuanced tonality, texture and pulse.”
