KINK Contemporary gallery at 78th Street Studios will be bringing together a dozen local, regional and national women artists together for its group exhibits Women in 3D which opens Friday November 20 during Third Friday.
Work included by the artists, who represent Cleveland, Akron, Detroit, Mississippi and New York includes fiber, metals, ceramics, wearable sculpture and mixed-media installations, all centering on the idea of three-dimensional work. Artists featueed include Emily Brannan, Erica Hoosic, Grace Galvin, Gwen Waight, Kim Eggleston-Kraus, Laine Keener, Mary Clark, Meagan Smith, Miwa Neishi, Molly McKay, Sarah Blanchette and Stephanie Lee Paynter.
