Through Sun 10/4
This is really, really it: although the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Asian Lantern Festival has been extended a couple of times, it’s over on October 4. So reserve your tickets now.
This new version of the popular Asian Lantern Festival features all-new displays, among them a 200-foot phoenix that spans Waterfowl Lake (where the dinosaurs are, but there’s no indication that phoenixes feed on dinosaurs), a six-story pagoda and walk-through displays. It also includes live performances of dancers, jugglers and acrobats, each night, and Asian food and drink available for purchase along with the zoo’s regular concessions. And you also get to see the zoo’s Dinosaurs Around the World exhibit. And you can choose the walk-through or drive-through option.
Tickets are $18 for zoo members, $20 for non-members. Same day tickets are $22, but don’t risk it — reserve them now here.
