Book addicts might want to close this page and wipe it from their memory bank. The Akron Art Museum is having an art book sale! And art books are those ones you can never get rid of, the ones you hang on to peruse over and over. New bookshelf time!
The sale features both used and new exhibition catalogs, biographies, art histories, monographs, coffee table books, and books devoted to the work of a particular artist, movement or time period, covering all eras and areas of area. It even includes collectible volumes and artist-signed books, and a few vintage exhibition posters.
The sale will be going on during regular museum hours Thu 1/16-Sat 1/18. There’s no admission.
