Youthful Nashville Americana Quintet Roanoke Comes to Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall

Fri 11/2 @ 8PM

Nashville’s Roanoke approaches American roots music with the pananche and energy of the youthful band they are. Formed in 2014, the ensemble — with Taylor Dupuis on vocals and guitar; Joey Beesley on vocals and lead guitar; Zach Nowak on vocals, mandolin and guitar; Joey Fiorentino on guitar; and Kyle Breese on percussion and harmonica — they released their self-titled debut album in 2016.

Although they did the clichéd “isolated cabin” thing for recording, their enthusiasm for touring and spending as much time on the road as possible is another sign of their youth and freshness as an ensemble. They’ll bring that fresh zestiness, embodied in their warm and approachable songs, to Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall.

Tickets are $13 in advance, $17 day of show.
