PHOTOSTREAM: 2016 in Review by Anastasia Pantsios

It was quite a year for Cleveland, from the Republican National Convention to the Cavs bringing Cleveland its first major-league championship in more than 50 years to the centennial of the Cleveland Museum of Art. And of course there was the usual whirl of festivals, concerts, arts events, markets and more that shames anyone who ever says “There’s nothing to do in Cleveland.”

We celebrated the arrival of new festivals and enjoyed the long-running ones. We marched in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Labor Day Parade. We mourned the loss of David Bowie and Prince with celebrations of their lives and took in the first major retrospective exhibit by Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh, one of our own. We shivered at Kurentovanje in February and basked in the July warmth at Ohio City Stages.

We were out and about and caught as much as we could for our photostreams. Here are some of our favorite photos from 2016. We look forward to even more good times in 2017. Thanks to Elisa Vietri and Dru Thompson for additional photos!
