The folks at independent comedy incubator NEO Maniacal Comedy Studio concede that this election cycle is no joke. In fact, for many it’s depressing, wearying, demoralizing and dredging up a lot of bad stuff.
But that makes a little comedy even more welcome. So Jeff Blanchard, Matthew Farkas and NEO Maniacal founder Sarah Jones will be making fu of it at Aqueduct Brewing exactly a week before its all — thankfully! Over.
It kicks off at 7pm with pre-show networking; the performers take the stage at 8:30. Afterward, there’s a talkback with their “celebrity” panel: Chris Horne (The Devil Strip) Richard Swirsky (Ward 1 Councilman) and Annal Vyas (UA Law, Bit Factory).
“Freedom isn’t free, but this show is,” they say temptingly.
