Event Banners in Neighborhoods?!

Sun 1/26

After all of these mobile tips in the past couple of weeks, it might be safe to assume you guys are experts when it comes to navigating the new CoolCleveland Mobile. For those of you that are pros, it might be fun to show you a new feature we recently added to the Neighborhoods Tab: Banners.

If you’re looking to follow along, open up your CoolCleveland Mobile and click on the Neighborhoods tab located at the bottom of your screen. Once you click on the neighborhoods tab, a selection of 29 different Cleveland neighborhoods should appear. Scroll on down to Kamm’s Corners and click on the neighborhood.

After the neighborhood opens you’ll be able to see the General Description Section, the Featured Destinations, AND NOW an Event Banner. Titled “Party at The Hooley on Kamm’s Corners with KCDC on 5/10,” this event banner is not actually a Featured Destination, but instead, a Featured Event. While the rest of the list contains fun happening locations, you may start to see event banners pop-up in the Featured Destinations list every once in a while.

Click on the event. Once you click on the event, the tab opens up and looks identical to every other event listing on our Mobile Site. There’s a brief description with the date and location, a photo, and a link to a URL. Keep your eyes peeled for more Featured Events in the Neighborhoods Tab, as well as other interesting gems. Also stay tuned to CoolCleveland for more Mobile tips, CoolNews, Events, and everything else in between! Keep it Cool!
