This Thursday, Barley House hosts a special evening to benefit Bike Cleveland and their efforts to make Cleveland a more bike-friendly city. The evening’s keynote speakers are Grace Gallucci and Jacob VanSickle.
Gallucci is the Director of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA). She will be giving a presentation on multimodal transportation. VanSickle is the Director of Bike Cleveland. He will be presenting his organization’s latest efforts throughout the city.
If you arrive by bike, the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op will be offering free, secure, valet bike service. You don’t even need to bring a lock!
This event is FREE and open to the public, but space is limited to reservations are available through their website.

FIRST! hi there…FYI…crossing LORAIN Ave. bridge at like 6AM something going West towards OHIO city…ok fine n dandy…BICYCLIST going TO Downtown using CAR lane when HAVE that BIG BROAD empty RAISED ped/bicyclist lane on WEST side of said same bridge…I know I know and gonna hear this catcall of statements saying bicyclists have as much right as a car to be in that lane BUT…EXPEDIENCY,common sense,etc. TO give cred to THAT 30sh helmet wearing SteadyEddy rider HE was obeying all the rules, not wobbling all over the place or playing games and ADMITTEDLY LORAIN does NOT have nearly the crazy traffic INNERBELT Belt or Main Ave.Shoreway bridge has…YET…time will tell far as resurgence on Lorain ave..

Old hoods,etc. ARE one thing far as bicycles…rest of it? NOooo…CAN do a better job of tying it all together but finally only do so much of that kind of transport..
