The Cleveland Candle Co. opened in Mentor in 2014, followed by the Cleveland Heights location (now closed) and finally to its current location on West 25th Street in Ohio City in June 2018.
If your favorite candle scent is hard to find, you’ll probably find it here. They’ve got more than 100 different scents, including special seasonal scents, and are always adding new ones. Also are made from 100% soy wax sourced from U.S. soy beans — and 90% of their oils are sourced from Ohio. “Buy local, burn local” is their slogan!
There are plenty of pre-made candles and gift sets, but what they offer that’s special is the ability to create your own custom candle, blending whatever scents you chose. Make your candle at their candle bar, then go grab a coffee or lunch from the many nearby places and come back when it sets in 1-2 hours. Cleveland Candle Co. also offers classes, and can host your party as well.
