Negative Space Gallery in Asian Town Center invites you to their monthly open mic night. This event will also be celebrating the current exhibition by Akron-based artist and gallery owner Amy Mothersbaugh — sister of the founders of local ’80s band Devo. Mothersbaugh owns Studio 2091 in Cuyahoga Falls — one of Akron’s best art galleries. This past year she completed a mural at the Akron Zoo for their aquatic exhibit.
No word on if her famous brothers will be dropping by participate in the open mic event. Open mic night and Mothersbaugh’s Daughters of Nereus exhibition are FREE and open to the public.
