Haymaker Farmers Market in Kent is one of northeast Ohio’s oldest markets, founded in 1992. Its May-October outdoor market on Saturdays @ 9am-1pm takes place on Franklin Avenue between Main and Summit streets under the Haymaker overpass. Its November-April indoor market takes place at the United Methodist Church, 1435 E. Main Street in Kent Saturdays 10am-1pm. Both feature local farmers, bakers and other food producers offering homemade, organic foods, ranging from produce, grains and dairy to ice cream, cupcakes to flowers and herbs.
