The Bottlehouse Brewing Company opened in Cleveland Heights in 2012 to serve housemade small-batch beers brewed on the premises, and later on, specialty meads. In March 2016, it moved west to open its second location in Lakewood, a taproom with more of a cozy, wine-cellar feel than the original location’s genial, open, family-friendly layout.
As in Cleveland Heights, a limited menu of soups, salads and appetizers is available, or bring your own food from a nearby restaurant — Lakewood has plenty of those. The Lakewood Tasting Room and Mead Hall is open late too: until 1am on weekdays and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
