Fat Head’s former location on Lorain Road in North Olmsted was a sprawling monster of a pub with big brew vats visible behind glass as you come in from the back parking lot. But it was minuscule compared to the enormous (250-plus seat) new location in Middleburg Heights, visible from I-71, opened in the summer of 2018 after ten years of building a clientele at the old location.
But, as at the old location, beer is the star here, with numerous proprietary specialties rotating from season to season, augmented by a list of beers from other craft brewers. And you can still watch it being made and bottled on the other side of a glass wall.
The food goes well with beer: wings in multiple flavors and sizes, man-sized sandwiches and burgers, even bigger sandwiches aka “headwiches,” meat-laden salads, pizzas, and a lot of fried appetizers/sides. If you overeat and outgrow your shirt, they’ve got souvenir apparel. And Fat Head’s is kid-friendly too — lots of foods kids know and like, and games to play while dad finishes his beer.

Hey guys. I just got back from the browns training camp and received my first beer advocate magazine. I wish I would have received it sooner as I would have found your brewery since I stayed in my hometown of Norwalk. I have lived in Las Vegas, Nv. for twenty years and I am the president of the Vegas Dawg Pound. I would love if you started shipping beer to Vegas as our bar promotes everything browns. I see you have a brewery in Oregon. So close. I know a lot of distributors in this town so I would love to promote your beer. Also if anyone is coming to Vegas look up the Kopper Keg West. We are the ONLY official browns backers bar in Las Vegas.
