Americans are an unhealthy bunch but it doesn’t have to be this way. Your health is directly related to what you eat. Eat right and you have the best chance of living well and being disease-free. Dr. Kerrie Saunders [pictured] (aka “Dr. Food”) will give you the scoop on eating right, living well and using diet as disease prevention. She’ll give a free talk on Tue 2/8 @ Rocky River Library.

Americans today have a 1 in 2 chance of dying of a heart attack, and a 1 in 3 chance of dying from cancer.  The latest research shows however, that these statistics can be changed by lifestyle factors 100% within our control!  We’ll look at cancer, blood sugar disorders, heart disease and obesity from a new angle, and get practical advice on how to make the switch to a cutting-edge, health promoting food and fitness plan.

Dr. Kerrie Saunders, MS, LLP, PhD is an internationally known Presenter and Author with work featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, e-zines, and on radio.  She has presented to audiences from Hawaii to Toronto, and her popular advice column, “Dear Dr. Kerrie,” has been regularly featured in the award-winning, national lifestyle magazine, VegNews.  She is currently the Coordinator of Michigan’s Engine 2 Firefighter Challenge.
