Thu 9/20 @ 6PM
Currently, an exhibit called Lake Erie: On the Edge, featuring the work of one of Cleveland’s top photographers Linda Butler, is on view at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. In it she explores the entire 900-mile border of the lake, its natural habitats, its industry and business, its recreational uses, its farms and more, exposing its many-faceted value.
On Thu 9/20, she’ll speak about the work at a reception that also includes a performance of Part 1 of Voice of the Lake, by composer local composer Margaret Brouwer, along with other instrumentalists and a children’s choir. The event includes snacks and a cash bar prior to the program.
It’s free. Sign up to attend here.
