Not everybody likes to just hang around the house on Thanksgiving, whether you spend it alone, with a few friends or with a large extended family. Maybe the idea of sitting around watching of football sounds unappealing (hand raised!)
Toss on your coat and head down to the Grog Shop — bring your family and friends too — for the Pass Me the Mic Thanksgiving Open Jam hosted by Mikey Silas, the singer and frontman for Cleveland’s hottest band of the moment, Apostle Jones.
Bring your instrument, bring your voice, or just bring your ears and get ready to cheer others. You can do the singer/songwriter thing and perform one of your own tunes or join a bunch of others, friends or strangers, on a popular cover tune you all know.
Sign-up starts at 8; there’s a suggested donation of $10 at the door, part of which will go to charity.
