Cleveland’s No Exit New Music ensemble will be trekking out to Chagrin Falls to perform a concert for Chagrin Arts at Federated Church in downtown Chagrin Falls.
The 11 –year-old ensemble, which specializes in newly commissioned works, will perform several pieces from its repertoire of nearly 150 such works: Christopher “Ved sjøen (By the Sea),” Buck McDaniel’s “Light Down,” and “Nocturnes,” the final work by the late Czech-American composer Ladislav Kubík.
Also on the program are works by three early 20th century iconoclast: Leo Ornstein’s “Wild Men’s Dance,” Krzysztof Penderecki’s “Chaconne in memoria del Giovanni Paolo II,” and Giancinto Scelsi’s “Xnoybis II.” It’ll also play three works by adventurous early 20th century composers: Leo Ornstein’s “Wild Men’s Dance,” Krzysztof Penderecki’s “Chaconne in memoria del Giovanni Paolo II,” and Giancinto Scelsi’s “Xnoybis II.”
After the concert there’ll be a “meet the artists” reception.

General admission tickets are $25; preferred seating is $32. Students are $5.
