Once again, two northeast Ohio rescues — Tails from the City and Lucky Paws Rescue — have joined forces to celebrate “Cinco de Meow.”
The fourth annual event brings together cat lover at Around the Corner in Lakewood for a taco bar (with loads of vegetarian and vegan choices), raffles, giveaway, the chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card or a change to meet Lil Bub in October, and the opportunity to spend an entire evening talking about cats and sharing all those cat pictures on your phone with people who won’t be bored by that.
Both groups are entirely volunteer-run; all money raised will provide food, spaying and neutering, and medical care for feral cats and adoptable cats in foster care. Between the two groups, they find homes for more than 800 cats and kittens each year.
