Akron Native Tim Easton Comes Back From Nashville to Play at the Beachland

Akronite Tim Easton moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University in the mid ’80s. That was where he hooked up with garage-country band the Haynes Boys back in the mid-late ’90s when the alternative country thing was in full swing.

They released one album in 1996 and broke up before the end of the decade. Easton who now lives in Nashville, drifted for a while, traveling and storing up experiences for new material. His solo career now includes eight albums folk- and country-flavored pop including the new American Fork.

Easton will be back home in northeast Ohio to play at the Beachland Tavern. Between the Strings opens. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
