“Tuning In” is the name of the Local 4 Music Fund virtual concert series, which launched last fall to give area jazz and classical musicians to connect with audiences, albeit online. Posted on the second and third Thursdays of each month, the concerts are streamed fro local venues.

On February 11, veteran Cleveland jazz pianist Eddie Baccus Sr will perform live from the BOP STOP in a trio format, with Chris Anderson on trombone and Elijah Gilmore on drums and percussion.

On February 18, flute player George Pope, violist Lisa Whitfield and harpist Emily Laurance will play music by French romantic Claude Debussy; 38-year-old Haitian-American composer Sydney Guillame; 20th century composer William Ferris; early 20th-century composer Sir Arnold Bax, and 18-century composer Joseph Boulogne, le Chevalier de Saint-Georges. The program also includes “Danza de la Mariposa,” a flute solo by back composer/flutist and founder of the Imani Winds, Valerie Coleman. They’ll perform live from Tremont’s Pilgrim UCC.
