Fri 6/3 @ 5-9PM
The winter/spring season at moCa Cleveland is drawing to a close, with a new set of works to be unveiled shortly. But if you haven’t had the chance to see what’s there now, moCa is hosting a “Season Shutdown” party, with art, talks and music, as well as drinks and snacks.
Dana Oldfather’s site-responsive drawing, Flyfall, will be on view for the last time and the artist will speak briefly between 7-7:30pm. Artist Jerome AB, whose exhibit At Once Terrifying and Equally Freeing in currently on vie, will be in conversation with ThirdSpace Action Lab founder/CEO Evelyn Burnett at 5:30pm, and Jessie Hoffman, whose Flowers in Temporary Hands is in the Mueller Family Gallery, speaks at 6:30. Distinctive local vocalist Kyle Kidd puts an exclamation mark on the evening with a performance on moCa’s loading dock at 8pm.
The event is free.
