Artists tend to be pack rats: you never know what will spark inspiration or what can be incorporated into a work of art. But sometimes you just have to divest and start over, clear the deck for new inspiration, and maybe make a little cash for some new canvases.
So Lakewood’s Good Goat Gallery is hosting its three-day Artist Hoarder sale, promising “art, antiques, toys, cool books, oddities, creepy things that caught our attention, ’80s cassette tapes, crafting stuff, furniture, metal scorpions, non-ugly clothes, old used crayons, etc.” The “etc.” sounds especially intriguing. They’re also promising “lots of fun surprises.” More fun than a metal scorpion? How can you resist stopping by?
