The Screw Factory in Lakewood is another of those repurposed industrial buildings, now filled with artists and event spaces. And it’s big, three-day Christmas market coming up on Friday December 15-Sunday December 17 is typically one of the last of the year, a great shopping opportunity for procrastinators.
But if that’s not you and you’d like to check out some locally made art and crafts NOW, many of the building’s resident artists will be open for Small Business Saturday. This one’s more manageably sized: they won’t have a horde of guest vendors in the event spaces. But you’ll have an opportunity to chat with some of the artists who have studios in the building, and learn the stories behind what they create before you buy.
