Preterm’s next community outreach night is movie night!
Bring some popcorn and settle in for a screening of the 2015 film Grandma, starring Lily Tomlin as the titular character, a lesbian whose partner has recently died. Into her life blows her 18-year-old granddaughter who desperately needs money for an abortion. he two set out to find it, during which both confront various significant people from their pasts. And no, this isn’t one of hose unrealistic, rose-colored movies where the young woman decides not to get an abortion after all, a seemingly de rigueur ending in his anti-women’s rights era.
