Fri 1/31 @ 2-4PM
As part of the events marking the 50th anniversary of the Kent State University May 4 shootings, the KSU Museum is currently showing an exhibit called Wearing Justice, showing how fashion has been used to express social and political viewpoints.
Five faculty members from various departments will participate in a panel at the Murphy Auditorium in Rockwell Hall where the museum is located, called “Fashion Statement: Communicating Dissent Through Clothing and Craft.” They’ll explore in more depth how clothing can represent protest and dissent, both in its production and wearing.
It’s free and open to the public.
