Mixed media artist Dale Goode is part of a two-artist show current at Artist Archives of the Western Reserve, showcasing the work of two recent entrants to the archives. Goode became an archives artist in 2020.
His show Creative Impulse features his mixed-media assemblage work, the culmination of four decades of art making and fabricating pieces of all sizes out of mostly found materials and discarded objects which he often paints over in vivid colors including gold. He’s also done two-dimensional painting, prints and collages that spring from similar impulses and interests as his sculptor. He’s exhibited extensively in the area and his work is in many regional institutional collections.
The show is on view through October 21. This Saturday Goode will talk about his work at AAWR. Go here for more information and to RSVP.
