Local Roots Rockers AJ & the Woods Release Song Previewing Upcoming Album

Northeast Ohio roots-rock quartet, AJ & the Woods has been building its local reputation for the last five years with occasional side trips to other markets such as Memphis and New Orleans, where they might find an audience open to its brand of blues-based rock and roll. Founded by vocalist Alison Tomin and guitarist Joshua Allen Collins, the group released an EP in 2017, and is currently working on its full-length debut. That was originally scheduled for this year, but now it’s looking like 2021.

In the meantime, the group is sharing a single called “Home,” recorded by Mike Brown at Cleveland’s Lava Room Recording, and produced by Madeline Finn, and an accompanying video. The single features their new vocal back-up singers, the Willows.
