If you’re looking for culinary adventure in Akron, check out the NoHi pop-up carryout restaurant in Akron’s North Hill neighborhood. Sponsored by the North Hill Community Development Corporation, it hosts a different food entrepreneur each weekend.
This weekend a new dining “concept” Savage Kitchen, organized by Will Hockney, will be doing the honors. They’ll be serving warm & hearty food for winter several types of ramen boodles, sandwiches and a s’more/churro combo dessert. The best part: 100% of the proceeds with go to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank. “Cooking and food is everything to me, it’s how I communicate, it’s how I show love,” says Hockney. “With everything happening in the world lately, we could all use a little bit more love.”
