Each month, one of Cleveland’s most glamorous drag performers, Anhedonia Delight, hosts her GlamGore shows at the Grog Shop. She puts together bills featuring some of the area’s top drag artists along with guest performers from around the region and event farther away.
She pulls out all the stops for her eagerly anticipated Halloween showcase, dubbed Holislay Spooktacular. “You may see some mystery, gore, horror and maybe something more,” she promises, “dark and twisted performances where glam and gore reign supreme.”
Local performers include Agata Why, Onya Nurve and Kari Nichols, with Fyre Storm traveling up I-71from Columbus, Deja Dellatoro making the trip east from Toledo, and special guest Melissa Befierce from California, who appeared in the Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, season 1, and the Boult Brothers’ Dragula Titans.
It’s$15 in advance, $20 at the door and $30 for VIP, a real bargain considering you get to arrive early, meet & greet with cast with photo opportunities, get reserved seating and a complimentary cocktail. It’s $3 more if you’re under 21 because you don’t drink and yes, it’s an all-ages show so maybe some right-wingers will have heart attacks. Too bad. They’re missing a great show!
