It’s going to be a busy Saturday at the weekly Coit Road Farmers Market. In addition to the Cast Iron Enthusiasts gathering, the Care-A-Van program returns as it does for the third Saturday of each month. The wellness program offers health screenings, crafts, nutrition information, group fitness, gardening and food demonstrations, book giveaways and more. The school garden program students will be helping create fresh meals.
This month’s event will also feature the unveiling of a new mural at the Coit Market gardens. Come check out all the healthy eating and wellness programs, and pick up some fresh foods from local farmers and food producers.
