Revel in the darkness of the longest night of the year at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, when its guides lead a Winter Solstice Eve Luminaria Walk along its new ADA accessible All People’s Trail, which opened in November. See what the darkness of nature looks like when lit by luminaria, then come inside and enjoy cocoa or hot mulled wine by the fireplace. The Duck Pond Gift Shop will be open, and there will be other special vendors there as well for last-minute gift shopping.
