William Pope.L knows Cleveland. We brought him here five times for the Performance Art Festival, more than any other artist. Back then, he had Cleveland crawling in the streets. George Witherspoon got out of the Army in 1963, and his sister told him about a new Community College that had just opened up. He enrolled at Tri-C, which was located in Brownell, his original high school.
“Everything has been made easy for me since then.”
“It laid the groundwork for me as I went to other colleges.” He went on to Wayne State College in Detroit and he hasn’t looked back. Except to join with his fellow alums at regular get-togethers.

IT scared me on how “political” capital cases are and how prosecutors couch things in terms of “winneable” I thought it was about “justice” although I never have been an “eye for an eye” person….
